For the Oven Method
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the macaroni according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Whisk in the milk, eggs, salt, and pepper until smooth.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until fully melted.
Mix the cheese sauce with the cooked pasta and stir well.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with additional cheese (if desired).
Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
For the Crockpot Method
Cook the macaroni and set aside.
In the crockpot, combine the milk, eggs, butter, and cheese.
Add the cooked macaroni and stir well to coat the pasta.
Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve once the cheese is melted and the mac and cheese is hot and creamy.
