Ingredients
  

  • 6 Chicken tenders Homemade or store-bought cooked
  • 4 Texas Toast Buttered and toasted
  • 4 Monterey Jack cheese slices 2 per sandwich
  • 1/2 cup Honey barbecue sauce Homemade or store-bought
  • 2 tbsp Butter For toasting the bread

Instructions
 

  • Cook or heat the chicken tenders according to package or homemade directions.
  • Butter both sides of Texas Toast and toast in a skillet until golden and crisp.
  • Warm the honey barbecue sauce in a saucepan or microwave.
  • Place toast on a plate, layer with 3 tenders, drizzle with BBQ sauce, and add 2 slices of cheese.
  • Top with second toast slice. Optional: Return sandwich to skillet, cover, and heat over low until cheese melts.
  • Slice, serve, and enjoy with your favorite sides.
